What Moon+ Reader does

Moon+ Reader is an Android ebook reader known for how much you can customize. It opens EPUB, PDF, MOBI, DOCX, TXT and comic files, and connects to online OPDS catalogs. It's free with ads, and a one-time Pro version removes them.

Opens EPUB, PDF, MOBI, DOCX, TXT and comic files
Themes, fonts, page-turn effects and auto-scroll
Highlights, notes, dictionary and translation
OPDS catalogs for online libraries
Backup to Dropbox or WebDAV and position sync
Pro: no ads, more read-aloud and PDF tools

Moon+ Reader is the reader for people who like to tinker. You can change themes, fonts, margins, page-turn effects and auto-scroll, and set up a reading ruler. Highlights, notes, a dictionary and translation are built in, and it can back up to Dropbox or WebDAV and sync your place between phone and tablet.

It also opens OPDS catalogs, which are online libraries of ebooks, so you can browse and download books from inside the app.

The free version shows ads. Moon+ Reader Pro is a separate one-time purchase that removes ads and adds more text to speech controls, themes, reading stats, widgets and PDF tools like form filling and annotations. The look is a bit dated next to newer readers, and it's Android only.
