PDF Expert
An app that lets you read, sign and edit PDFs on iPhone and iPad.
What PDF Expert does
PDF Expert is a PDF app for iPhone, iPad and Mac from Readdle. The free version reads, annotates, fills in forms and signs. Premium adds editing text and images, converting PDFs to Office files and images, merging, compressing and AI summaries. There's a Mac version too.
PDF Expert is built for Apple devices and it shows. Reading is smooth, and you can highlight, add notes and draw on pages. Filling in forms and signing documents are free.
Premium is where the editing lives. You can change text and images in a PDF, create and convert files, export to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, PNG or TXT, merge documents, compress big files and get AI summaries. The App Store lists Premium at $49.99 with a free trial, and a separate Mac and iOS plan at $79.99, so check which plan covers the devices you use.
If you only sign and annotate, stay on the free version. If you edit PDFs every week, especially across iPad and Mac, Premium is worth comparing with Acrobat.
