What PhotoLayers does
PhotoLayers is a free iPhone app for photo montages. You erase the background around a person or object, then layer up to 11 photos together and adjust their colors so they blend. It comes from handyCloset, the small studio behind Background Eraser.
PhotoLayers is for the fun side of cutting pics: putting yourself on the moon, adding a friend to a group shot they missed, or stacking the same person three times in one frame. You load a background, add up to 11 photos on top, and erase what you don't need from each one.
The eraser makes unwanted areas transparent, and there's a restore tool if you take off too much. Color and tone controls help the layers match so the final picture looks less pasted together. It pairs well with Background Eraser from the same developer if you want to prep cutouts first.
It's free with ads and iPhone only. Zoom in when you erase around small details for cleaner edges. For quick montages and silly edits, it's a long-standing favorite.
