ReadEra
An app that opens EPUB, PDF and MOBI files on Android with no ads.
What ReadEra does
ReadEra is a free book reader for Android that opens nearly any file you throw at it: EPUB, PDF, MOBI, AZW3, DOCX, DjVu, FB2 and more. There are no ads and no account. A one-time Premium upgrade adds sync and read-aloud with the screen off.
If you're looking for the best app to read PDFs and EPUBs on Android without paying or watching ads, ReadEra is hard to beat. It keeps your books and documents in a library with collections and opens them in a clean reader. Kindle formats like MOBI and AZW3 work too, as long as they aren't copy protected.
The free version covers what most people need: collections, bookmarks, quotes and reading settings, all offline and with no sign-up. ReadEra Premium is sold as a separate app for $14.99, once. It adds syncing your books, progress and notes through Google Drive, text to speech that keeps going with the screen locked, custom fonts and more highlight colors.
It's Android only for now. It doesn't sell books, so you bring your own files or pair it with a store or library app.
