YouTube Create started on Android and reached iPhone in December 2025. It's a clean, free editor with the tools short-form creators use most: trimming, cropping, transitions, filters, fonts, stickers, voiceover and beat matching to the YouTube music library.

Two features stand out for everyday videos. Auto captions turn speech into text (in selected languages), and the audio cleanup tool removes background noise, which is great for talking-to-camera clips filmed outside. Newer AI tools like Edit with AI and video generation are only in selected countries.

On iPhone it needs an iPhone XR or later on iOS 17, and on Android it's still labeled beta and wants 4GB of RAM. If you make YouTube videos and want a free editor with no upsells, it's worth a try.
