Hiatus
An app that shows every subscription and bill in one place.
What Hiatus does
Hiatus is a money app for iPhone and Android that links to your bank and card accounts, pulls your subscriptions and recurring bills into one list, and alerts you before renewals or when a rate goes up. It also has a simple monthly budget. It's free to start, with a paid Premium plan.
Hiatus has been around since 2015 and is one of the older apps in this space. Instead of typing subscriptions in, you link your accounts and it finds recurring charges for you. From there you see all your bills in one place, get alerts before they renew, and get flagged when a price creeps up.
It started out as a service that helped people cancel unwanted subscriptions and lower bills by contacting providers for them, and its Google Play listing still offers both: you can cancel subscriptions from the app, and it can try to negotiate lower rates on bills you track. There's also a monthly budget and spending insights, which makes it closer to a light budgeting app than a plain subscription list.
The tradeoff is price and privacy. You have to share your bank login through the app, and Premium is listed at several price points, from about $36 a year up to around $21 a month. If you only want a list and reminders, a manual tracker does the job for far less.
