What MediBang Paint does

MediBang Paint is a free drawing app aimed at comics and illustration. It has 180 brushes, comic panels, screen tones and speech bubbles, plus free cloud saving so you can keep working on another device. The free version shows ads.

About 180 brushes plus custom brushes
Comic panels, screen tones, fonts and speech bubbles
Free cloud saving across devices
Group projects on a shared canvas
PSD support and time-lapse recording

MediBang Paint is a favorite for people starting out with comics and manga. You get panel tools, lots of screen tones, fonts and speech bubbles, and around 180 brushes, with the option to make your own. It also opens and saves PSD files.

Cloud saving is a real plus. With a free MediBang account you can sync your work across devices, and group projects let several people draw on a shared canvas. Free accounts can join a limited number of teams. There are also free tutorials and templates in the MediBang Library.

The free version shows ads, and some brushes are locked unless you watch an ad or subscribe. MediBang Premium removes ads and adds 700+ more brushes and unlimited teams. The App Store app is listed for iPhone, and there is an Android version on Google Play.
