Procreate Pocket
An app that puts a full painting studio on your iPhone.
What Procreate Pocket does
Procreate Pocket is the iPhone version of Procreate. For a one-time $5.99 you get the same painting engine, hundreds of brushes, layers, simple animation and time-lapse replays, sized for a phone screen.
If you like the idea of Procreate but only have an iPhone, Pocket is the answer. It uses the same painting engine as the iPad app, so brushes feel the same and you can import Procreate and Photoshop brushes.
You still get layers with masks and blend modes, color tools, vector text, QuickShape and StreamLine for clean lines, and perspective and symmetry guides. There is frame-by-frame animation with GIF export, plus time-lapse replays you can export in 4K.
A handy extra is Reference Companion, which floats a reference image on screen while you draw and lets you pick colors from it. It is a great sketchbook for the bus or a waiting room.
The phone screen is the limit. Detailed work is harder with a finger on a small display, and it has a lower App Store rating than the iPad app. It runs on iPhone only.
