What Shonen Jump does

Shonen Jump is VIZ Media's official manga app. New chapters come out weekly and the latest ones are always free. A $3.99 a month membership, with a 7-day free trial, opens a library of more than 20,000 chapters.

Latest chapters free every week
20,000+ chapters with a $3.99 a month membership
Offline downloads
Two-page spreads in landscape
Light and dark modes and account sync
Free previews of paid volumes

Shonen Jump is the official English home for many of the biggest manga series. Each week new chapters arrive, and the latest chapters are free to read. That alone covers a lot of people who just want to keep up.

If you want to go back and read a series from the start, membership costs $3.99 a month after a 7-day free trial and covers more than 20,000 chapters. You can also preview and buy single volumes. The reader handles two-page spreads in landscape, offline downloads, dark mode and syncing across devices.

For the price, it's a strong deal in licensed manga. If you'd rather read Shueisha series free on release day, MANGA Plus is the other official option.
