ShutEye
An app that plays sleep sounds and records your snoring overnight.
What ShutEye does
ShutEye is a sleep app that combines a sleep tracker with sleep sounds, bedtime stories and a smart alarm. It records sounds like snoring through the night and saves sleep sessions to Apple Health. It's on iPhone and Android.
ShutEye tries to cover the whole night in one app. Before bed you pick a sound mix or a story; while you sleep it tracks your cycles and records noises; in the morning a smart alarm wakes you.
The snore recordings are a big reason people install it, since you can play back what happened overnight. You can also build your own sound mixes.
Many features sit behind the VIP subscription. Some Google Play reviews raise concerns about subscription charges, so note your trial end date if you start one.
Keep in mind that phone-based sleep tracking is an estimate, not a medical test. It's most useful for spotting patterns over time and for hearing what actually happens in your room at night.
