Wattpad
An app that lets you read and write free serialized stories.
What Wattpad does
Wattpad is a free app full of original stories written by its community. You read chapter by chapter, comment as you go, and can post your own writing. It's free with ads, and Premium removes them for $5.99 a month.
If you searched for a free novel app, Wattpad is one of the biggest answers. Writers post stories in parts, and readers follow along and comment as new chapters arrive. Stories cover a long list of genres and come in many languages.
Most of what you read is written by amateurs, so quality varies a lot. Part of the fun is finding a gem and following it as new chapters land. Saved stories sit in your library so you can pick up where you left off.
You can read lots of stories for free, with ads. Premium costs $5.99 a month and takes the ads away. If you write, Wattpad is also a place to find your first readers.
