What Dolphin EasyReader does

Dolphin EasyReader is a reading app designed for people with dyslexia, low vision or blindness. It reads books and documents aloud with highlighting you can adjust, and it connects to more than 50 accessible libraries such as Bookshare and Project Gutenberg. It's free on iPhone, iPad, Android and Mac.

Reads DAISY, EPUB, Word, HTML and text aloud
Word and sentence highlighting you can adjust
Links to 50+ accessible libraries, including Bookshare
Imports from Google Drive, Classroom and OneDrive
AI summaries, quizzes and flashcards on Premium

EasyReader is built for print disabilities first. It reads DAISY books, EPUB, Word, HTML, plain text and clipboard text aloud, highlighting each word or sentence as it goes. You can change the voice, speed, pitch and how specific words are pronounced, plus colors and fonts.

Its standout feature is library access. The app links to more than 50 accessible book services, like Bookshare, NLS BARD, CELA, RNIB Bookshare and Project Gutenberg, and to Google Drive, Google Classroom and OneDrive. You sign up for each library on its own website, then download books into the app.

The free version doesn't cap partner library downloads but limits you to 5 downloads and 5 imports from other places. Premium removes those limits, opens text-based PDFs, adds more voices, and includes AI study tools like summaries and quizzes. The interface is plain, but it does the job it was made for.
