Dwell: Audio Bible
An app that reads the Bible to you in your choice of voice.
What Dwell: Audio Bible does
Dwell is an audio Bible app that reads Scripture out loud while the text scrolls along. It has 14 translations, including ESV, NIV, NLT and KJV, and more than 20 recorded narrator voices, plus listening plans, devotionals and a sleep mode.
If you searched for a Bible app that reads to you, Dwell is built for exactly that. Pick a translation, pick a voice, and press play. The text scrolls with the narrator so you can read along, and you can download chapters for offline listening.
It has 14 translations (among them ESV, NIV, NLT, KJV, CSB, NKJV, NASB and The Message) and more than 20 narrator recordings. On top of the Bible itself there are 75+ listening plans, devotionals, prayers, playlists, kids content and a sleep mode.
Full access is paid after a 7-day free trial (the developer says a limited free version also exists), with plans for one person, two people or a family. If you only want to hear a passage now and then, a free Bible app with audio may be enough. If listening is how you want to build a daily habit, Dwell is focused on that.
