Monarch Money
An app that shows all your money in one shared view.
What Monarch Money does
Monarch Money is a budgeting app that brings your bank and card accounts into one place and helps you plan spending each month. You can pick a simple flexible budget or a detailed one by category, and invite a partner at no extra cost. It works on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web.
Monarch gives you two ways to budget. Flex budgeting splits your money into fixed costs, non-monthly costs and everything else, so you only watch one flexible number. Category budgeting sets a limit for each category if you like more detail. You can switch styles as your needs change.
It is built for households. You can add a partner or other family members at no extra charge, whether or not you share bank accounts. You can also keep some accounts visible only to you. Bills and subscriptions show up in a calendar or list with alerts before they're due, and a cash flow view looks ahead so you can see what's coming.
There is no free plan, so you are paying for polish and for having everything in one view. If you want a calm dashboard you can share with a partner, it's a very complete pick. If you only need a basic monthly tracker, a cheaper or free app may be enough.
