myNoise
An app that lets you fine-tune noise and soundscapes with sliders.
What myNoise does
myNoise is a sound app with more than 300 soundscapes and colored noises, from rain and ocean to drones and music. Each one comes with sliders so you can shape the sound. It's ad-free, works offline and uses a one-time purchase instead of a subscription.
myNoise is for people who are picky about sound. Instead of one fixed white noise, each soundscape has its own sliders, so you can turn down a hiss or bring up a low rumble until it sounds like your fan at home.
Creation Mode lets you build your own mix with up to 10 sliders, and Animate Mode keeps the sound shifting gently so it doesn't sound like a short loop. There's also a meditation bell with intervals.
It's made by a small team that started with the myNoise website. One purchase opens up everything, including soundscapes added later.
A good way to start: open a plain noise generator, set the sliders until it sounds right in your room, and save it as a preset. Then try one of the nature soundscapes for nights when you want something softer.
