Quicken Simplifi
An app that plans your spending after the bills are paid.
What Quicken Simplifi does
Quicken Simplifi is a budgeting app from the makers of Quicken. It starts with your monthly income, takes out bills and subscriptions, and shows what's left to spend. It tracks upcoming bills, projects your balances ahead and lets you add one other person. It works on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web.
Simplifi skips the blank-spreadsheet feeling. Once your accounts are linked, it builds a spending plan for you: income at the top, recurring bills and subscriptions taken out, and what's left to spend or save at the bottom. As you spend, the plan updates on its own.
Bills and paychecks are where it shines. You see what's due soon, get alerts before payments, and a cash flow view projects your balances forward so you can spot a tight week before it happens. You can also run what-if scenarios. Watchlists let you keep an eye on one category or store, and savings goals track progress toward things like a trip or an emergency fund. You can add one other person to share the account.
It only works in the US and Canada, and there's no free plan or trial. It costs less than many paid budgeting apps, though. If you want an automatic plan that keeps bills and paydays in view, Simplifi is a good, low-effort choice.
