ShareCost is a newer bill splitter, released in 2026 by BudgetBakers, the company behind the Wallet budgeting app. You make a group for a trip, your apartment or a night out, invite people with a code or QR scan, and everyone adds what they paid. Splits can be equal, by percentage, by exact amounts or custom shares.

Changes show up for the whole group in real time, and you can add expenses offline and let them sync later. It converts between more than 100 currencies, keeps an activity log, and lets you attach receipt photos and comment on an expense. When it's time to settle, it works out the fewest payments to get everyone even.

The free version covers the core and allows up to 50 expenses per group. Premium lifts that limit and adds receipt scanning, recurring expenses, group budgets, expense disputes and CSV export. It's still young, with few ratings so far, so it's one to try on a small trip first.
