StepsApp is a friendly, colorful way to keep an eye on your walking. It counts steps on its own, shows distance, time and active calories, and turns them into daily, weekly, monthly and yearly charts. Goals and streaks give you a reason to get the last few hundred steps in.

There's a social side too, with challenges, leaderboards and groups. It reads from Apple Health or Google Fit and on iPhone can sync with Garmin, Oura, Fitbit, Whoop, Polar and Amazfit, so it works with the watch you already have.

The free version shows ads. Pro adds advanced stats, GPS workout tracking, custom looks, extra streak freezes and removes the ads. Some reviews on Google Play say a few features that used to be free now need Pro. If you want a no-rewards counter on Android, it's one of the best-rated choices.
