WeWard
An app that gives you points for walking that you can cash out.
What WeWard does
WeWard is a walking rewards app. Your steps turn into points called Wards, which you can cash out, trade for gift cards and gifts, or donate to charity. It adds challenges, games and collectible cards on top. Free on iPhone and Android, with an optional Premium plan.
WeWard counts your steps with its own pedometer or by reading Apple Health, Google Fit or Fitbit. Each day you convert your steps into Wards, and independent reviews say you have to do that before midnight or the day's steps are gone. There's a daily cap on what walking alone can earn.
Wards go toward cash, gift cards, partner gifts or donations. On top of walking there are challenges with friends, leaderboards, sweepstakes, games and collectible WeCards, plus ads you can watch for extra Wards. It's busy, and that's part of the appeal for some people.
Reviews from 2026 are clear that the money is small and that reaching the cash-out level takes a while. Treat it as a bonus for walking you'd do anyway, not as income.
