What Fantastical does

Fantastical is a calendar app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, with a Windows app included in Premium. You type or say something like "lunch with Sam Friday at noon" and it creates the event. It connects to iCloud, Google, Exchange and Office 365 calendars, plus tasks from Reminders, Todoist and Google Tasks.

Create events and tasks by typing or speaking plain English
Works with iCloud, Google, Exchange and Office 365 calendars
Tasks from Apple Reminders, Todoist and Google Tasks
Calendar sets to switch between work and personal
Openings booking links and meeting polls (Premium)
Widgets, plus an Apple Watch app with Premium

Fantastical has been on Apple devices for years, and its big draw is speed. Instead of tapping through fields, you write an event the way you'd say it, including repeats and alerts, and it fills in the details.

It pulls your calendars together in one place: iCloud, Google, Exchange and Office 365 all work, and your to-dos from Apple Reminders, Todoist or Google Tasks sit right next to your events. Calendar sets let you switch between work and personal views in one tap.

The free version covers the basics, like full day, week, month and year views, widgets and a short weather forecast. Premium adds the things that make it feel like a scheduling assistant: Openings (a booking link), meeting polls, video call links, an Apple Watch app, a longer forecast and access on all your devices, including Windows.

There's no Android app, so it only makes sense if you live on Apple devices or a Windows PC. If you do, it's one of the nicest calendars you can get.
