Google Calendar
An app that keeps your schedule on every phone and computer.
What Google Calendar does
Google Calendar is Google's free calendar app. It runs on iPhone, iPad, Android, Apple Watch, Wear OS watches and the web, and it adds flights, hotels and reservations from Gmail for you. On iPhone it can also show your iCloud and Exchange calendars next to your Google ones.
If you have a Gmail account, you already have Google Calendar. It's free, it stays in sync on every device you sign in on, and it's the calendar almost every planner app in this list plugs into. You get day, week, month and schedule views, color-coded events, tasks next to your events, and home screen widgets.
The Gmail link is the quiet win. Flight confirmations, hotel bookings and dinner reservations land on your calendar without you typing a thing. Shared calendars make it easy to run one schedule for a family, a couple or a small team, and work accounts add booking pages and Google Meet links.
On iPhone and iPad, the app can also show the iCloud and Exchange calendars already on your phone, so you can see everything in one place. On a Mac or PC there's no app to install, you just use it in your browser.
What it won't do is plan your day for you. It doesn't slot tasks into your free time or move things around when plans change. If you want that, look at an AI planner. If you want a free, reliable calendar that works on any phone, this is the safe default.
