Fotor
An app that removes backgrounds and bystanders in one photo editor.
What Fotor does
Fotor is an all-round photo editor on iPhone, Android and the web. Its background remover pulls out the subject in one tap and lets you swap in a new backdrop, and its Magic Eraser clears bystanders and other clutter. Fotor Pro adds the full set of AI tools.
Fotor is the kind of editor you can do almost everything in: crop, adjust, add filters, make collages and run AI effects. For this page, two tools matter. The background remover finds the subject with one tap and lets you replace what's behind it. Magic Eraser removes unwanted things like people in the back of a shot, and blends the gap with the scene.
Because it's a big editor, you get more than removal. That's handy if you also want to retouch or design something, and a bit much if all you need is a quick cutout.
It's free to download with ads, and Pro is a monthly, weekly or yearly subscription. Fotor carries a 17+ age rating in the US App Store, so keep that in mind for kids. Its web version means you can finish an edit on a bigger screen.
