Picsart
An app that edits photos and makes collages with built-in AI tools.
What Picsart does
Picsart is an all-in-one photo and video editor for iPhone and Android. You get filters, retouching, collages, stickers, text and a big set of AI tools like background removal and image enhancing. It's free to start, with paid plans that remove ads and add more AI credits.
Picsart tries to be the only creative app on your phone. One minute you're cropping a selfie, the next you're cutting yourself out of a photo, dropping in a new background and adding stickers and text for a story post.
The AI tools are a big part of the app now. You can remove backgrounds and objects, enhance a blurry shot, expand a photo past its edges or generate images from a prompt. Many AI tools run on credits, so heavy use pushes you toward a paid plan.
The trade-off is clutter. The free version shows ads and nudges you to upgrade often, and the sheer number of tools can feel like a lot if you only want quick fixes. If you like to play and make social posts, it's a strong pick. If you want a calm editor for straight photo fixes, something like Snapseed will feel lighter.
