Guru Maps
An app that plans multi-stop routes and works offline.
What Guru Maps does
Guru Maps is an offline map and route planner from a small indie team. It gives voice-guided directions for car, bike, truck and walking, plans multi-stop routes, records GPS tracks and shows 3D relief and contour lines. It has no ads, runs on iPhone, Android and Mac, and offers Pro as a subscription or a one-time purchase.
Guru Maps sits nicely between simple travel maps and heavy outdoor tools. You download countries or regions, updated monthly, and get offline search, voice directions with lane guidance, and rerouting. It handles cars, bikes, trucks, walking and straight-line routes.
It shines for planning. You can build multi-stop routes and export them as GPX or KML, record tracks in the background with live stats, and see elevation profiles, 3D relief, contour lines and hillshade. Pins, tracks and collections sync across your devices, and it works with CarPlay.
The free version is limited to 3 map regions, 15 places and 15 tracks, so most regular use means paying for Pro. The nice part is that you can buy it once instead of subscribing, and there are no ads either way.
