Hello Weather
An app that gives you a friendly, ad-free forecast in plain words.
What Hello Weather does
Hello Weather is a simple, friendly forecast app from a small indie team. The free version has no ads and includes hourly and daily forecasts, minute-by-minute rain, weather alerts and basic radar. Pro adds widgets, notifications, animated radar and a choice of data sources. The developer says it doesn't track you.
Hello Weather is what you get when a weather app is made by people who just want it to be pleasant. The forecast reads like plain English, the screens are bright and tidy, and you can pick themes and icon sets to make it yours.
The free version is generous and has no ads: forecasts based on Apple Weather data, minute-by-minute rain, weather alerts, basic radar and themes. Pro adds home screen widgets, rain and severe weather notifications, Apple Watch complications, animated radar, air quality and pollen, and lets you switch to other data sources like The Weather Channel, AccuWeather or Foreca.
The developers say they don't track you or sell ads. It's built for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. An Android version exists, but it hasn't been updated since September 2024, so we'd only recommend it on Apple devices.
