What HERE WeGo does

HERE WeGo is a free map and navigation app from HERE, a company that makes map data. Its standout is offline maps: you can download a region, a country or a whole continent and navigate without a connection. It also covers public transit and works with CarPlay.

Offline maps for regions, countries or continents
Turn-by-turn voice guidance for driving
Walking directions and transit in 1,900+ cities
Parking search at your destination
Saved collections, shortcuts and waypoints
CarPlay support

HERE WeGo covers the basics well. You get turn-by-turn voice guidance for driving, walking directions, and public transit routes in more than 1,900 cities. It can also help you find parking near where you are going.

Offline is where it shines. Instead of drawing a box around a small area, you download a region, a country or even a continent, then drive or walk with no data. That makes it a handy backup for road trips and travel abroad. You can save places into collections, add waypoints, and set up one-tap shortcuts for places you go often.

Reviews note that routes aren't always perfect, and it has fewer extras than the big map apps. If you want a free, simple navigator with big offline downloads, it's worth a try.
