What Pocket Clear does
Pocket Clear is a quick, private expense tracker. You log spending by hand in a few seconds, it works fully offline, and there's no bank login or ads. Pro adds cloud sync, budgets and Partner Mode, so two people can see their spending side by side. It's on iPhone, iPad and Android.
Pocket Clear is built for speed. You tap in money in or money out, pick a category, and you're done. Suggested entries let you repeat common expenses in one tap, and you can set your month to start on payday, or track weekly, biweekly or twice-monthly pay cycles.
Privacy is the main pitch. Your data lives on your phone by default, and the developer says the free version never uploads anything. If you want backup, Pro adds optional cloud sync. It doesn't connect to banks at all, though on iPhone you can set up a Shortcut that logs Apple Pay taps for you.
Partner Mode is the couples feature. Each of you keeps your own account and logs your own spending, then you link with a short code and switch between Me, Partner and Combined views. Both people need Pro for it. Newer Pro features add groups for splitting shared costs and a trip view for travel spending. It's a young indie app, launched in 2026, so expect it to keep changing.
