Prizmo Go
An app that grabs text from anything you point your camera at.
What Prizmo Go does
Prizmo Go is a text scanner for iPhone and iPad. Point the camera at a page, label or handout, and it picks out the text so you can copy it, share it or hear it read aloud. On-device recognition works offline, and paid plans add cloud OCR, handwriting and translation.
Prizmo Go is less about making PDFs and more about grabbing words. Snap a page and you can select the exact lines you want, copy them into another app, or listen as it reads them aloud with each word highlighted. It's the small sibling of Prizmo, from the same independent studio.
The free version includes on-device text recognition, which works without a connection. A purchase adds cloud OCR in 139 languages, handwritten text, AI translation, sending text to your Mac, and tapping detected phone numbers, emails and addresses. You can buy a one-time Essential Pack for $23.99, or pick a plan: Standard from $3.99 a month or $9.99 a year, Pro from $7.99 a month or $19.99 a year.
If you just want the text from a page, not a document, this is quicker than a full scanner. If you need multi-page PDFs, use a document scanner instead.
