Wispr Flow
An app that lets you talk instead of type, in any app.
What Wispr Flow does
Wispr Flow is a voice keyboard for iPhone that also runs on Mac and Windows. You talk the way you normally would, and it types clean, punctuated text into whatever app you're in, from Messages to Slack to ChatGPT. It's free with a weekly word cap.
Wispr Flow is dictation for people who write a lot of messages. Instead of the stiff, word-for-word result you get from basic dictation, it tidies what you say: punctuation, formatting and the right spelling for names you've added to your personal dictionary.
On iPhone it works as a keyboard, so you can use it anywhere you type. There's a whisper mode for quiet places and a quick shortcut for capturing notes, and those sync with the desktop apps on Mac and Windows. Wispr says it handles more than 100 languages.
Two things to know. It needs an internet connection to work properly, and its App Store privacy label says some usage data is used for tracking. The free plan has a weekly word limit that Wispr doesn't spell out in the listing, so heavy talkers will end up on Pro.
