Facetune
An app that touches up selfies and portraits with AI.
What Facetune does
Facetune is a selfie and portrait editor from Lightricks for iPhone, Android and the web. It smooths skin, whitens teeth, adds makeup, tries on hairstyles and creates AI headshots. It's free to download with a 7-day trial, then most tools need a subscription.
Facetune is built for photos of people. Open a selfie and you can brighten eyes, whiten teeth, even out skin, add soft makeup or test a new hair color before you commit at the salon.
The AI tools go further: one-tap enhance, an AI headshot maker for profile photos, background blur or swap for a studio feel, and object removal. It also handles video, so you can apply the same touch-ups across a whole clip.
Our honest take: it's a polished app, but almost everything sits behind the subscription once the trial ends, and the price is on the high side for casual use. A light hand goes a long way here. If you only touch up a photo now and then, a free editor with a healing tool may be enough.
