What MyRadar does

MyRadar is a radar-first weather app. It opens right onto an animated live radar map of where you are, so you can see what's coming in a second. It adds rain alerts, National Weather Service warnings, hurricane and wildfire layers, and works in CarPlay and Android Auto.

Animated live radar with loops up to two hours
Rain alerts up to an hour ahead
National Weather Service and tropical storm alerts
Layers for wind, fronts, hurricanes, wildfires and aviation
CarPlay and Android Auto support
Apple Watch and Wear OS apps, plus a radar widget

Most weather apps start with numbers. MyRadar starts with the map. You open it and see rain and storms moving around you, with loops up to two hours long, and the forecast slides up from a drawer when you want it. It's quick, simple and great for a fast look at what's heading your way before you leave.

On top of radar you can add layers like wind, fronts, hurricanes, wildfires, earthquakes and aviation data. It sends rain alerts up to an hour ahead, plus official weather alerts. It also works in your car with CarPlay and Android Auto, and on Apple Watch and Wear OS.

The free version has ads. Premium removes them and adds real-time hurricane tracking and a pro radar pack with individual radar stations. Pilots can add aviation charts as a separate purchase. If radar is the first thing you check, MyRadar is hard to beat.
