FamilyWall
An app that organizes your family's calendar, lists and messages.
What FamilyWall does
FamilyWall is an all-in-one family organizer. Your family shares a private space with a color-coded calendar, shopping and to-do lists, recipes, a photo gallery and messages. Most of it is free, and Premium adds calendar sync, meal planning, budgeting and more for the whole family.
FamilyWall tries to be the one app your household runs on. The calendar shows everyone's plans in their own color, or just one person's when you need it. Next to it you get shared shopping lists that work offline, to-do and chore lists you can assign to people, a recipe box, a family contact list and a private photo gallery.
There is also a built-in messenger, so quick notes like "running late" stay inside the family space instead of a separate group chat. Your family group is called a circle, and you can have more than one, for example one for your household and one for grandparents.
The free plan is generous, but some features people expect are paid. Syncing with Google or Outlook calendars, the weekly meal planner, timetables for school schedules, budgeting and document storage are Premium. One Premium subscription covers the whole family.
If you want a calendar plus lists and recipes for free, it's a strong pick. If syncing with your Google or Outlook calendar is a must, plan on paying.
