What Finny does

Finny is an AI expense tracker for iPhone and iPad. Instead of filling in forms, you type something like "coffee $5", say it out loud, or scan a receipt, and the app fills in the details (the AI and voice features need Finny Pro). There's no bank login, and the developer says your data stays on your device unless you turn on backup.

Type a quick phrase and AI fills in the transaction (Pro)
Voice logging on Pro
Receipt scanning and batch import of bank app screenshots
Tap to Track logs Apple Pay payments via a Shortcut
Quick Log from Siri, Spotlight or the Action Button
Budgets, spending overview and multiple currencies

Finny is for people who never stick with expense apps because logging feels like a chore. You write a quick phrase, and with Pro the built-in AI turns it into a proper transaction with an amount, category and date. Pro also lets you just say what you spent. The camera reads receipts, and you can batch-import screenshots from your banking or payment apps.

It also tries to catch spending you'd forget. Tap to Track can log Apple Pay payments after a one-time Shortcut setup, and a newer Screen Log feature grabs a payment shown on your screen in one press. Quick Log works from Siri, Spotlight, the Action Button or Back Tap, and it doesn't use AI at all.

The free version gets you started without a subscription. Pro adds the AI and voice features, with a short free trial and one free AI request for new accounts. It's a young app from a solo developer, iPhone only, so it's best if you want fast, private logging rather than a full budgeting system.
