An app that logs an expense in one tap.

What Monefy does

Monefy is built to make logging spending fast. You tap a category, type the amount, and it lands on a simple pie chart of your month. There's no bank login. The free version has ads, and Premium adds sync and extras.

Add an expense in one tap with just the amount
Pie chart of your spending plus a full record list
Several accounts and multiple currencies
Recurring records and a built-in calculator
Passcode lock
Sync through your own Google Drive or Dropbox

Monefy keeps the whole app to one idea: adding an expense should take a second. The home screen is a chart of your spending, and you add a new record by tapping a category and entering the amount. Below the chart you get a list of every record, and you can change the report period to a day, week, month or year.

Beyond that it covers the basics well. You can have several accounts, track recurring records, use more than one currency, lock the app with a passcode, and do quick math in the built-in calculator. Sync between devices works through your own Google Drive or Dropbox account.

The catch is the business model. The free version shows ads, and things like dark mode and cloud sync sit behind Premium, which is pricey on the US App Store for such a simple tracker. If you love the one-tap style and don't mind manual entry, it's still a classic. If you'd rather not pay that much, look at a tracker with a one-time upgrade.
